I have had some trouble uploading an outfit post because I do not have a "photographer." Usually my younger sister takes pics for me but I am now back at my dorm and too shy to ask friends for help (and nervous with others handling my new camera). Obviously, I could buy a large tripod but I do not exactly have the funds for that right now. However, these are a few pictures I took before leaving home, so I decided to post them.
I'm wearing a mustard trench coat, tan sheath dress, and caramel wedge boots. I cannot remember who made the dress but it's from Lord and Taylor's and the jacket and shoes are Forever 21. Btw, I love my makeup in this pic. This was the first time I wore burgundy lipstick and I love it.
Hi again! Every week and often more than once a week, I do interesting designs on my nails. If you follow me on instagram (xosherley) you can see my sordid designs throughout the week. I recently did this grunge look with OPI crackle in a dark blue, a basecoat of bright yellow and random strokes of black. I love how it came out! It's sort of an artsy grunge look which one of my studio art teacher loved :). I hope you enjoy this look and try it out for yourself.
In this blog post I am reviewing Covergirl’s TruConceal Concealer. A few days ago, I went on a hunt for a new concealer that was somewhat inexpensive. I was hoping to find one that was thick and creamy in texture; I am not a huge fan of the extremely liquid types. Since there is a CVS nearby, I decided to search for my concealer there. Currently there are a lot of beauty items on sale at CVS, from nail polish to makeup. I went through different brands and most of their concealers were in liquid form which was an utter annoyance. I did discover one concealer in lipstick form but it was more than $12, and so I was not interested. Finally, I got to the Covergirl section and spotted the TruConceal concealer. With a mineral based formula that is superblendable, I thought to myself- this is exactly what I'm looking for. Plus, it was on sale at 50% off so of course I grabbed it. The retail price is about $8 to $9 but it was now on sale for $4.25- Yippee! .
TADA! I look lively, super cute, and my dark circles have about disappeared.
I finally uploaded another video on YouTube and it is a response video to BritPopPrincess' Tag "Great Expectations." I had fun doing this tag because I was able to reflect on the past year and where I am now and where I hope to be in the future. Yes, it was more focused on beauty and fashion but I did delve into things that were significant to me, like my weight loss goals. In my next post, I hope to talk more about my New Years Resolutions and the future.
